Jack Womack at El SombreroJack Womack is the author of seven novels, most notably Random Acts of Senseless Violence, all presently in print here and in the UK; and non-fiction art book, The Flying Saucers Are Real! (Anthology Editions), which came out last year. He still lives in New York, where he once saw Roy Cohn but has never seen a flying saucer.

James MorrowJames Morrow is the author of nine novels, including a postmodern historical epic, The Last Witchfinder; a Mary Shelley homage, The Philosopher’s Apprentice; and a Darwinian extravaganza, Galápagos Regained. He has twice received the World Fantasy Award and the Nebula Award, as well as the Grand Prix de l’Imaginaire, the Prix Utopia, and the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award.

The New York Review of Science Fiction Reading Series provides performances from some of the best writers in science fiction, fantasy, speculative fiction, etc.  The series usually takes place the first Tuesday of every month, but maintains flexibility in time and space, so be sure to stay in touch through the mailing list, the Web, and Facebook.

The Cafe has excellent food, a coffee bar, beer and wine.  The Jenna freebie table will offer books and goodies, as will the raffle for any who donate.
